IJIVPTA (International Journal of Image and Video Processing: Theory and Application) Journal is intended for Scientists, Researchers, Academicians and Engineers working on multidisciplinary field of image and video processing. The scope of the journal covers a broad spectrum of image and video processing.

Peer Reviewed

Peer Review Process

Submitted papers not conforming to journal guidelines will be returned to authors without scientific evaluation. Papers accepted for review will be assigned to reviewers. The detailed description of review procedure is giving as follow:

Reviewers' number: For each of papers at least two independent reviewers are assigned.

Reviewers' affiliation: The reviewers are from different countries. The editors are appointed to assess each publication of at least two independent reviewers from different countries.

Type of the peer review: The papers are reviewed in a double-blind process, where the referees remain anonymous for the author throughout the process.

Final decision: The review is concluded with decision: accept as-is, accept after minor revision, accept after major revision (in this case another review may be necessary), reject.

Duration of the process: All manuscript will be reviewed within one month. Revised manuscripts are returned to the reviewers for re-review at the discretion of the handling Editor, depending on the nature and significance of the revisions.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
